Make time for Hanbury
Hanbury Gardens continue the Riviera’s story of acclimatisation gardens. An English family began creating the garden in 1867; it is now managed by the University of Genoa.
We suggest making it the main focus of an outing, with time for the paths, pauses and return journey. The train takes you to Ventimiglia, not to the garden entrance. Arrange onward local transport separately or plan a road journey, using the garden’s visitor information.
